2018 Annual Report

As passionate followers of Jesus, we rejoice not only that we have received forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit, but also because God has enjoined us in his mission to the world! We do all of this, not in our strength, nor for our own glory, but in God’s strength and for his glory alone. As I look back at 2018, we have so much to give thanks for to God. And that thanks, is not only for God, but also how God is at work through you. I’m reminded of Paul’s opening words from 1 Thessalonians:

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labour prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 1:2-3)

What a remarkable privilege it is to have received the Gospel and know the Lord! What a remarkable privilege it is to serve our God together - both as the gathered and scattered church - but always as brothers and sisters in Christ. I trust as you read these reports, even as a brief snapshot of how God is at work, it will cause you also to give thanks to our great God and King.

Download the report here or you can pick up a printed copy from St Bart’s. Please note that our Annual Meeting will be on March 3 at 11.30AM.
